Triple Crown Tournament 3/2-4/07

Our first game this weekend is Saturday at 10:00am. The field we will be playing at is in Southlake, TX which is pretty close to Flower Mound and Grapevine. I will include the field address at the bottom of this page and get you directions before Friday.

I have information on one hotel right now which is the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Grapevine. I could not get a group rate because they require at lease 10 rooms and I know we won’t have that, so the rate is $99 per night and they still have a few doubles left. This rate includes their continental breakfast. I know some of you like to do the on-line hotel pricing thing so the address below should help you get something close.

**We will meet at 8:30am on Saturday morning. We play on field #8 and there are batting cages by the field.

I will try to make a few more calls and see if I can find anything else, I did try a couple more that were both over $100 per night. Don’t wait too long…there are a lot of teams in this tournament!!

Game Times

Our first game on Saturday is at 3:00pm. The second game is at 7:00pm. Both games will be on field #1 at BBI in Mesquite. The tournament will be single elimination on Sunday.

We will meet in Mesquite at 1:30pm on Saturday! There is a batting cage behind the Dallas Christian school which is right beside the ballpark. This is where we will be at 1:30.

Mesquite tourney

The web site for this weekend’s tournament is www.bbidallas.com. Game times should be posted by noon on Thursday. The fields are pretty easy to get to…you take I20 to Hwy 80 to Mesquite, take I635 North which will take you right by Town East Mall. You are only on I635 for a mile or two and you exit Oates and take a right. There will be a Sonic on your right and the street beside Sonic is Wooded Lake (take a right). The ballpark is up the hill on the left.

We should have our new jerseys this weekend…wear white pants, navy belt and socks.
